The Guarnera Brothers are a group of musicians originally from Palermo,Italy in the region/island of Sicily south of Italy, talented in performing in multiple languages English,
Italian & Spanish. They are known for bringing a top 40, pop, blues, classic rock-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences.
Their music has a particular rumba flamenca style, with pop influences; many songs of the Guarnera Brothers fit social dances, such as salsa and rumba. Their music has been described as a place where "Italian/Spanish and poprock/flamenco meet salsa rock/soul/funk".
The Guarnera Brothers, born in Italy and brought up with Italian and Spanish culture, are largely responsible for bringing the sounds of progressive pop/rock-oriented flamenco to a world-wide audience. The family band started out in Palermo, a city in southern Italy during the 1960s.
After family business stalled in Italy, their father Cosimo made a decision to take his family to New York to start a new life. This gave their mother Grazia the lead way needed to pursue her dreams in seeing her children build careers in their already musical family lineage.
The family legacy of musicians has been pleasing crowds of all types. Music and performance is in there blood, and there's nothing they love more than seeing their guests and audience have a good time.
